Bay and Bow Windows
Bay and Bow Windows
Both a bay & bow window will project outside of your home. A bow window is a configuration of four, five or six windows that all gently angle out from your home. A bay window typically has three windows in that configuration. The fixed window would be the center one, and the two outside flankers could either be a double hung window or a casement window depending on how you want them to operate.

The Benefits of Bay and Bow Windows
A bay or bow window can provide a lot of curbside appeal on the outside of your home. On the inside of your home it makes for a great usable space that is actually functional. A lot of homeowners use that bay or bow window area as a display case for all of their favorite things. Pictures, plants, and even pets love the sunlight these windows generate. Homeowners can also sit in their bay window and read books; it’s just a great addition to any home.
